Why 20·40
The journey of a generation
The Plan has an arrival date: in 2040, the first generation accompanied since pregnancy will be finishing their professional studies. This is the road we are walking together.
2005
A friendship begins
Catholic missionaries visit Cuatro Ciénegas and a bond is born with the community that will never let go.
2016
Plan 20·40 is born
CODICC A.C. is founded and, together with experts and families, an integral plan with five pillars is designed.
2017
The first generation
Accompaniment begins at pregnancy. Every child has a guide who visits them every month.

We are here
Year 9 of the journey: 2,002 children walk with the Plan in two communities.

Dreams grow
The first generation starts middle school with a life plan of their own and a net that holds them.

The goal
100% of the generation finishes technical or professional studies. The story gets written in full.

The Home of Hope
An adobe community center in the heart of Cuatro Ciénegas: 2,600 m² to accompany more than 300 people, built with the oasis' traditional material. 70% is already committed — every brick counts.
